gmail archive label deleted

I have windows 10 pro desktop.
I accidentally deleted the archive label in Gmail. How can I recover it?
Should I remove Chrome and reinstall it or ....?
Thank you
Peter

Firstly I didn't think it was possible to delete the archive label as it is hard coded into Gmail and secondly removing chrome will have no effect.

It sound more like you have deleted a custom label that has been made, in which case you can simply recreate the label yourself. Make sure you are in desktop display mode and you can easily create a new label on the left side of the screen below your existing labels.

Of course there could be something else going on here.

There isn't an Archive label in Gmail. When you 'archive' an email it just changes to the 'All mail' label.

If you try to create an Archive label it won't allow it and you get a prompt saying it is a reserved system label. If you add at least one character it will allow it so you can have eg. 'Archive 1' or 'My Archive', but you would have to use the 'Move to' or 'Change labels' function, but there seems little point in doing that as they will always be in 'All mail' anyway.

I understand and thank you.

May I ask, I have an email address , a name and password. Which do I use the name or address to log in with the password?

You should be able to log-in using either your name or your registered email address. If you are unable to use the email address you can check/change it in your account contact details.
