Hi,


For the last month I have stopped receiving emails from my main Gmail account. I received 0 emails since August 1 this year. I have reset my password, tried using Newton mail ,I have contacted Google account support and Gmail support but all I get back are automated responses, 1 your email has been deleted and cannot be recovered and my Google account is active. These responses are not what I asked , maybe they are being deleted as they come in but why. I cannot find anyway to contact gmail or google that gets me any reasonable help. Does anybody have any good idea or suggestions?

Yes I tied on a PC, tablet, Newton mail, signed out of my account and back in with 2 step verification. No luck

Yes I tried those steps but they pertain to missing emails and some of them relate to suspicious emails none of them have solved the issue, and the support I receive tells me my deleted emails cannot be recovered. No support.from Google has referenced the fact I am not getting any emails.

Is it possible that someone had access to your credentials and set up an automatic forward?

If you log into gmail from a PC, can you send out email?

Just to check, how about make a new account and email yourself to see what happens?

Also if you have a device with the latest OS on there is a support section within the settings page of your device to contact Google directly.

Thanks I tried Gmail support that was useless but I will try the settings in the phone just in case it helps and update here later.

It could be the actual application itself..that happened to me about a year ago..then I switched to a different "mail opener"..and it allows me to have bunch of different email accounts and brands all in one single icon..very friendly and modern..you should try it..here it is..

I tried that with Newton mail.and Outlook but it still.shows no new emails.

Are you sure you tried the latest version which was just released?..then if I were you..go into the gmail settings within your computer..not the phone..they are quite extensive and comprehensive..it'll take you a whole full hour to go over them..something in there must be out of place..maybe even I think there's a reset configuration button in somewhere..
I hope your solution is there waiting to be found..

Thank you for the help I finally figured out what happened, my free space in drive expired and it was full, unless you use Gmail not inbox you can't see the error message that states free up space or you won't be able to send or receive emails.

Google setting says it may take 24 hours to reset the drive parameters I am assuming everything is fixed, if it isn't I will respond back here later.
