Gmail issue ?

All of a sudden my gmail just stopped coming through. I checked on my computer and I have 50+ emails but nothing has come through on the phone in over 3 days. I've restarted the phone, taken the battery out and nothing is working.

any ideas?
 
Clear cache on the gmail app and maybe also data (can be bad so only if nothing else helps) . And do you have gmail sync on?
 
sync is on.

Could it have anything to do with low storage space? I keep getting that warning. I've deleted a bunch of pics and a few apps and I'm still getting it.
 
Whats space is getting low? if its the phone memory, erasing pics which are on the SD wont help. And did you clear the cache?
 
The warning says "Low on Space - phone storage space is getting low" ??

The "clear cache" button is grayed out for me when I go into Manage Apps > Gmail.

Yeah thats the phones internal memory I would say. You dont have many apps installed right? (Maybe even messages might be there, no idea...) But try to erase some apps you dont use.
 
a bunch of texts maybe?

installed apps - accuweather, boa, barcode, food finder, live music archive, live scores, npr, pandora, pktauctions, score center, scanner radio, spare parts, the weather channel, swype, zillow, sundroid and maybe a few others. handcent.
 
And can the gmail now sync? Btw the clear data button on it is still available ? One general hint. use the "archive" function for the mail you dont want to erase. Gmail app doesnt like full inbox so much. Btw I am having time to time Gmail trouble. Started with Buzz, then priority inbox etc :)
