Gmail lock

I've had my android for a year now. I recently received the samsung tablet as a Christmas gift. My question is how can I put my password so when other people use my tablet they cannot open my gmail?

I would think you will have to log on to your gmail account manually each time and have your tablet set to not remember. How that is achieved will be vary from tablet to tablet.
