when i got email in past phones i would recieve audio notification and the gmail icon at the top of my screen but now with the galaxy s 4 and the galaxy note 2 i get no audio or visual notifications on my phone and unless i manually open the app. i have checked that my settings were on for notification sound and that the "notifiy me for every message" was also on but i still get no immediate notification of now emails please help me correct this asap
