Gmail Notification Sound

Okay, I've read a lot of threads and people seem to be resolving this issue, but I CANNOT figure out how to change the notification sound to silent for the gmail app.

I go to the app

menu > more > settings:

presented with:
general preferences, account settings and add account

NEITHER OF THESE lets me choose a sound. All they let me do is choose whether to show the new email icon on the top of the task bar. There is NOTHING, and I repeat, NOTHING to do with sounds. This is frustrating because I like to get sound from incoming calls and texts, but could care less about emails.

Anyone else have this problem? DInc w/launcher pro paid

You don't see the option to select "labels to notify"?
It's at the very bottom after selecting your email address.

OK, a little late reading this, but thanks very much! I have been searching for this option since rebuilding my phone recently. I would never have thought to look under "labels to notify".
