gmail on Galaxy III password change

Changed my gmail password using laptop. My Samsung Galaxy III still synchs gmail even though I never changed the password for gmail on the S3. I can't find out how to change the password for gmail on the S3. I guess not a huge problem as the S3 still synch with the old password.
