Gmail: Possible to do multiple attachments at once?

Is this possible? Seems like a simple matter of just clicking on each picture, for example, but it only says "Choose one" at a time.

From the gallery "preview" screen (when you first open the app), if you long press on a picture it will then bring up little check boxes in each picture. You can select multiple pics and then from menu > share, select the option you want.
