Help Gmail problems, only on one account.

Hi all

My wife's Nexus 5 has 2 gmail accounts. Today, on one account only, opening the emails that arrived today causes the Gmail app to close with an error report option. The other Gmail account works fine.

These are safe emails that we get regularly.
The emails open fine on a PC, and sending test emails from any other account causes this shut down.
Forwarding from the problem account to the other, the email opens fine.

If I use a browser and open the problem account their is no problem viewing the emails.

I also have a Nexus 5 and setup this problem account on my phone, same problem!

I've tried removing the account from her phone and then adding it, no joy.

So far it's just 3 emails, just recent a recent one, also from the same source, it opens fine. Maybe the problem is passed, time will tell.

Any thoughts?

Have you tried wiping the cache, uninstalling the updates of the gmail app, and then reinstalling them?

Oh just seen it's also happening on your phone too with the same email account. Hmm, dunno what that could be, sorry!
