Has anyone tried to specify a reply-to-address for their gmail account on Android? I haven't found a way to do it, though it is an option on mail.google.com. It seems like a desirable feature to me.
If you ckick the "reply to" option, you can still type an email address, or delete the current one and change it to a new one (which is basically the same as forward). Don't see where you are having the problems.
