gmail sending from outlook question

So here is something i have tried to stop from awhile now and everything i try does not work.

I have a gmail mail account and imap via outlook. Every time i send an email i get a copy in my in box. How do i stop it from doing that. strange only started doing it awhile ago.

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

In outlook, there is either a setting to CC yourself, or else there is a setting to store a copy of the sent mail in the folder from which you are sending. Check for either of those two settings, and if enabled, disable them.
