Hi, is there a way to force the Gmail app to not automatically download embedded images in emails? I'm not talking about the attached images, which are not downloaded until you click, but those shown in the body.
I have a limited data plan and I keep receiving these big emails from friends, going as far as 15MB at once (although the downloaded images are about 2 to 3MB normally, I don't know why it grows that much). I would not want to block friends or send them out of the Inbox, and ask them to stop sending such e-mails (with stuff that could be found on the Internet and shared with a simple link) would be very unpolite.
I appreciate any help! Thanks in advance!
