GMAIL? What is which?

Ok Folks..I have an App named GMAIL..which seems to be crashing out on me..I have over 4K emails in the one account and 2K in the other..

How can I Completely FLUSH These accounts clean..? Also.. Is this the NATIVE Email client or is it GMAIL? This is what happens when the Verizon folks do all this hand holding at the store..I have no idea what they setup..

Grrr..I cant even send email because I get a GAPPS force close error..

Well, you're not being clear, but YES. If the VZW rep set it up, it is NOT a thirdparty email client.
1) are you using GMAIL, if so, just go to CPU and delete everything from there... actually same thing goes for any other email.
2) your phone comes with two NATIVE email clients... Gmail and all others. (2 separate icons) and no VZW did not have download either one.

3) if your GMAIL app is crashing you may need to wait for 2.0.1 update or if you have updated already, exchange the phone. Both native apps should only show the last 25 most recent messages. If you are getting several hundred before you are ble to check them, this may also explain your problem

You can also log onto Gmail from the phone's browser and enjoy the full featured client. If you need to delete e-mails from there, go for it.

Sory for not being clear... I don't want to delete any GMAIL from my account (online) but the phone cannot, nor do I want it to handle the 25K email I have sitting in there... I just want the most recent say 2-3 days worth.. not the 4K email that is sitting in the one account and the 2K email sitting in the other on the phone.. I think thats killing it ..
So basically if I could just delete the mail box it's sitting and and then recreate it with more restrictive Sync settings I think that would work..

Of course when I tried it stated I had to go back to DEFAULT config to do it... even though I have another GMAIL account on the phone..

I am at the 2.0.1 patch now..
