This device is identical to the Galaxy Avant (G386T/G386T1)... The g386t is the T-Mobile Avant, and the T1 is Metro PCS... Everything made for the Avant works on this device, so check these forums for all things root:

We have multiple root methods, a few custom ROMs (CM11 and AOKP for kitkat/CM12 for Lollipop), custom recoveries (Clockworkmod/TWRP), and even a custom kernel that overclocks the CPU to 1.5Ghz and the GPU to 575Mhz (this only works on stock roms for now, but the dev has stated plans to release for custom ROMs as well).
I'm posting this so that, maybe, with our powers combined, we can get even more and better ROMs...
Note: Avant software is only compatible with the quad-core variants of the Core LTE... Doesn't work on G386F or G386U, but does work on G386W... Basically, if it's a Core LTE with 1.5GB RAM and a quad-core, it'll work...
