go keyboard not saving dictionary words

seems a common problem with this program.. the function appears to be there... if you long press a word it says "saved"... but it doesn't actually save it... anyone know what i may be doing wrong?

i've tried other keyboards, but they lag with my slow CPU. "Go" and the stock keyboard seem to be the only responsive ones with my phone...but a bummer it can't save words... i use a lot of thai transliterated words with friends ...

Try installing Swype. Its not on the market you have to go to their website, because its still registered as beta, but its a known trustworthy app. Samsung even got Swype preinstalled on their phones. BEST KEYBOARD EVER!

The swype typing can get a little bit of getting used to but its great and fast. Also, its possible to teach it an entire language. I actually am Swyping using my native language which isnt among Swype's supported languages. Of course it took me quite a while to teach it though. :p

I'm using HTC ONE X and I'm having all kinds of problem w/ the keyboard inputs.
Originally, before the ONE X I used the Numberpad Keyboard, but I couldn't get the pop up to give me the option to select the keyboard.

Then installing the GO keyboard, it was all good - but I cannot find a way to add words. Again the pop up doesn't give me that custom option (just full editor, cut, paste, etc).

Anyone else deal w/ this ?

To add words to go keyboard, you need to have autosuggest on. Then when you type the word you want to add, tap the displayed word in the suggestion area.
