Go laucnher, App icons disappear randomly.

Hi there, I just installed Go launcher with Ios7 like Colorfulday theme and could be happier how my android looks now.

Only but very annoying issue is that after organising my home screens, App icons disappear randomly, for now reason. This happens several times a day and whenever the phoneis restarted EVERY icon is whipped out.

Any reasons/solutions for this? Thanks (Galaxy S3)

Hi there and welcome to Android Forums.

Does this problem occur when using stock TouchWiz or when using Go Launcher with the default icons? If not, I suspect a problem with the ColorfulDay icon pack you are using. Try a different icon pack and see if you can replicate the problem.


If it is just the ColorfulDay theme, maybe you could contact the icon pack dev and let them know there is an issue and they might be able to provide a patch.

GO Launcher is the one shown running on Applications Manager. Forcing TouchWiz Home to stop was one of the 1st measures I tried.

Emailed the Go Launcher developer team and will cross fingers. I'll post here any solutions they may provide.

Would ColorfulDay work better on other launchers? Any further ideas? Thanks!
