Used Go Launcher on my Droid Bionic and loved it. Now that I switched to a Galaxy Nexus, my Go Launcher is giving me huge problems. For one, I can make no changes in the preference menu. Whenever I click on "Preferences," it opens up a separate menu that quickly disappears. Same goes for just about any GO Launcher menu option, and this is driving me nuts. I have deleted and reinstalled the program, but to no avail. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

This happened to me too. This might resolve your issue: Settings, Developer Options, make sure - Force CPU - is unchecked and - Don't Keep Activities - unchecked also. After doing so, Go Launcher runs like a dream. Let me know what happens.

I have the same issue with my Ideos phone. Uninstalled and reinstalled but no change. The preference option gives me nothing?
I found something that worked for me, so I made an account.
The problem I was experiencing on my Samsung Mesmerize was that the preferences would open, then immediately close. the standard troubleshooing solutions did nothing to help this (reinstalling/uninstalling an alternate launcher program/taking the battery out).
So, as soon as I tapped "preferences" I started tapping in the middle of the screen and hit, for example, "app drawer settings."
Then, "app drawer settings" opened up, but immediately closed to to the preferences screen, but the preferences stayed open.
This did not fix the problem, as every time I had to open preferences, I had to keep tapping to, again, open up another selection which would close back to the preferences screen.
But, if you can get to the preferences screen, go to "advanced settings" and make sure "system persistent" is checked. After this, my preferences screen opens up without a problem.
Hope this helps, because I never did find this solution anywhere else.

Hello. I would appreciate help from any member in these forums. I've read and tried several tips here and I still get "Force Close" problem anytime I try to select Preferences from the Menu.
I also do not get any response from Go Developer support for Go Launcher on their blog.
This Force Close problem started happening to me ever since I updated to GL version 2.8.7.
Now I am using Go Launcher vers. 3.0.5, Beta 4, and still the GO team never fix the Focre Close problem.
My phone is the Samsung Epic 4G, using Gingerbread 2.3.6.
