Go SMS/Handcent

Hey guys,

I recently got these alternative SMS apps and love them. However, one thing that I noticed is neither of them have a character counter when typing in landscape mode. Does anybody know how to enable this in either of these apps? Thanks

My landscape character counter works fine for me in handcent...

my Handcent also does have it in landscape. Check your settings.

My counter disappears in Landscape using GO SMS too.

When you hit the box to type it brings up the htc keyboard and input screen. with no counter. In portrait the GO input box is kept on the screen with the character count next to it. This is the same regardless of the keyboard I select and can't find a setting to change it.
