Go SMS late texts and doubles

I use go SMS on my Galaxy S4. When i first got it everything was fine but recently i have been receiving texts way after my friends send them and also i get doubles once in a while. The stock messaging app is disabled as well. What would fix this?

Could be network error. But I'd actually suggest ditching Go SMS. It used to be the best messaging app, but several others have caught up and even surpassed it on certain things. I personally use Handcent now.
