go sms pro problems? feed back on other sms apps

so a friend/coworker suggested i try go sms pro and so far i like it!!! few complaints there isn't much time to try a theme before buying, cant change pop up window notification background or text very hard too see. maybe i am missing something??
did not purchase app....
also thought of trying chomp sms and 8sms(kitkat) any thoughts on that...

tried google hangouts,textra and did not like them.

chomp is by the same developer as textra. I have used it for ages with no problems. If you like themeing it only has a few to choose from. You have to install the theme add on for this to work though.
