Help Go SMS Pro

For some reason I cannot find it in a search but i know there are other threads on GO SMS Pro.

My issue is that when i send a smiley it shows up but it will not show up if someone i am chatting with sends for instance a : )

I would expect that to show a

I think the Android way of smiley is :- ) and not : )

(ignore the spaces...)

So if someone sent you a : ) it would just show as that...

I also maybe completely wrong...

Using the stock message app I use : ) ; ) ; p (without the spaces) etc and they turn into smilies.

Ahhh I use Handcent SMS....

My bad....
