Go sms

Does anyone know if I install this app and then decide later I don't like it. Can I uninstall it and my phone will simply revert back to the stock messaging?

Is this going to fool with my contacts list at all?

You should have no issue just simply uninstalling and going back to the stock app. I have Go SMS installed myself and love it though, so doubtful you will want to uninstall.

I dont know if it has been changed, but when you install, it will sync your facebook photo's with your contact list. There is a setting to disable this but the last time I installed you had to turn the option off AFTER it installed so im not sure how it will react now. This is assuming that you have facebook that is.

Other than that, you will be ok. If you dont like it, remove and revert back to using the stock sms. GOSMS is very nice though. I think that you may like it.

It didn't mess with my contact list but I don't use facebook or let my twitter sync. After I uninstalled it I was able to use my stock messenger fine. YMMV but I had issues with it deleting new texts before I could read them so you might want to look out for that. I thought I was just not receiving all the texts sent to me then I played with some settings and I would get the notification then when I opened it the text would be gone.

Are any of you using Exchange Activesync? I syncronize all contacts/emails/calendar with my exchange server. I don't use anything to do with google account and syncing contacts/emails/calendar.

I just wanted to try something new but I always hesitate using any new program when the one I am using is working flawlessly.

I don't use facebook or twitter.

I use touchdown because the work exchange server does not support activesync...or android...I think you will be safe with your contacts, even if you were to install it and it messes with them you should be able to uninstall and go back to the previous way your contacts were set up.
