Hallo Android people

Does anybody know a eazy way to go back from JB to ICS
on a international One X and maybe without rooting??

I updated to JB as soon as it got out, but have only been disappointed in what i got. So really wanna go back i loved my phone before now i hate it :-(

Thx.

Dammit i wish there was a way.

But what i don't like is
1. the keyboard respons worse (i use the phone layout in danish language)
2. I can not use the word Ja(yes in english) as the first word in a message.
3. The smileys age gone so need to type those manully.
4. Project butter, I don't feel that at all, think it was better before to be honest.
5. HTC have still left out the permanent serch bar in the top of the home screen.
6. Google search was nice before now it is kind of anoying so i just use the browser insted.
7. The lock screen still dosen't have a widget for gmail.
8. My Battery drains faster don't know by how much can just see i lower on juice at the end of the day compared to before.

And yes maybe it is not JB in it self thats bad but more HTC version of it i don't know.

I can live with most of the stuff. But mostly I just miss my good old keyboard is they maybe a way to get that back from ICS version?

thx.

The top 3 could be sorted by installing another keyboard, Swiftkey has a smiley option underneath the enter button. What happens when you put Ja as the first word in a message?

I could not find a normal phone keyboard layout in swiftkey only qwerty layout i don't like that it is slow to type, but i oversaw the phone layout??

If i try to type Ja to start with it surgest KB and if i go to other sugestion there is no Ja word.

it's been a while since i used the stock keyboard, but I think there should be a button to add to the dictionary when you open the expanded menu of word options... if you add it to your personal dictionary then it should pop up every time...

As for the other things...as for the lack of permanent search bar, you can achieve this with any one of many third party alternatives (I used nova launcher for a while). Only android 4.2 supports lock screen widgets; no one with Android 4.1 will have any kind of gmail widget on the lock screen. having said that, if you absolutely need one, widgetlocker will give you lock screen widgets.

However, all other reports of android 4.1 and sense 4+ report greater responsiveness and a faster phone in general... have you tried soft/hard reboots since updating?
