Going from psx4droid to fpse, save question

Sorry if this has been covered before, but I keep hearing everyone rave about fpse so I want to try it. I don't however want to start FF7 over again, so I was wondering if there is a tested and working way of changing the memory card files from pas4droid to fpse? Thanks!

I do remember reading that you can simply move the save files to the correct folder and change the extension .. wasn't much help I know .. but you probably can figure the rest out
