The camera is so-so compared to a lot of other phones. 5 megapixel rear and no LED flash or auto-focus. It does take fairly bright pictures though, just need to have some light, but nothing amazing. I haven't really used the front camera much at all, but it's not that great either.
The screen is definitely not 1080p. The resolution is also mediocre compared to higher-end phones. (It's like 480x854 or something)
It's not awful, I can still see things just fine and watch youtube and other stuff without any major complaints, but you have to remember this is a basically a cheap phone with a decent processor and no major frills or bells and whistles.
Of course, if you want to use it with something like Chromecast to watch video on a real HD screen it works fine.
If all you care about is camera quality and high screen resolution or quality, there's better phones, of course. If this one is all you can afford or the best deal you can get right now, it's not that bad at all if you can accept the limitations.
