I'm not familiar with your device, but if its possible you might want to installed the below:
Download this:
[Updated x2] Download: Google Play Store (Formerly Android Market) v3.5.15 APK With A New Tabbed My Apps Interface, New Review Features, And More
And enable Unknown Sources if you haven't already. It'll install the new market.
