Have you tried DNS66? Not available on the Play Store, though. If rooted, use Adaway.

Firefox with adblocker plus (ABP) works wonders! Otherwise, lots of it (ads) are from Google.

If you use NoRoot Firewall you can easily see that lots of ads are NOT coming from GlooGull...
