There is an app icon in the application drawer. You can also make an app shortcut in your homescreen. Finally, there are 12 widgets that you can customize as you like.

Calendar Pad doesn't use Android's calendar....
Checking out some others that folks posted. tCalendar is a useless piece of crap, the date doesn't change as it says it does.
Calendar Pad doesn't use Android's calendar, neither does Jorte. Business calendar doesn't have an icon. :-/
