Good Contacts App Recommendations?

Can someone please recommend a good contacts app?
I'm going through some serious bs with the factory app.

For one, I want to liven it up with a theme.
Two, and this one really pisses me off, I want contacts to appear where they alphabetically belong.

For example, I want "Dr. Buzzell" to show up in the "D"s.
Whether I name it "Dr. Buzzell", "Dr Buzzell" (no period after "Dr", like that should make a difference), "Buzzell Dr. ", or "Buzzell Dr" (again, no period after "Dr", again, like that should make a freakin' difference), or with a comma after "Buzzell", or with a comma after "Dr"...
Or if I call the good Dr. "Eat shit and die".

Nothing makes a difference. It goes to the "B"s. No matter what:

That isn't where I want it.
I want "Dr Buzzell" to be listed in the "D"s, where all my other Dr's are listed.

That's right. I can create any other Dr and they go to the "D"s where they belong.
WTF.
Maybe I should call my shoulder surgeon "Br. Duzzell".

But I shouldn't have to.

I used to use GoContactsEx. But since Samsung decided we don't need a menu key in M, I can't apply a theme.

And the Go developers are a bunch of lunatic idiots.
I'm trying to stay clean and sober nowadays so I stay away from people like that.

I tried Drupe contacts. It has all 5 star reviews in the Play Store.
I guess all those people go through life with the contacts that they began with at the time that they installed that app because the developers forgot to add a way to add new contacts (Drink another one you stupid f***s).
You have to create new contacts in the factory contact app and then they show up in Drupe.

Again, something I shouldn't have to do. Like I shouldn't have to re-name "Dr. Buzzell" "Br.Duzzell".

I'm starting to think I'm ranting at this point...
But w/o a menu key, I'm kind of limited on the things I can do with this phone. Like post stuff in the proper forums.

Oops. I guess I'm doing it again...

I'll use this for at the moment.

But themes=very limited and not very appealing.
But mainly, I'm having a hard time finding how to create contacts.
Like Drupe, I have to create them in the factory app then they'll show up in this one.

(menu button problem? IDK)


I just really miss my GoContacts.
It worked awesome but the UI is so ugly w/o being able to apply any of the many gorgeous themes they offer (because I don't have a menu button).

I'm going to nip all this shit in the bud and get a new phone w/a new carrier. Just haven't decided yet.

(I posted a post I'm not sure where [again, because I don't have a menu button to pick and choose where I post stuff] the other day about me wanting advice on a new phone/carrier but no feedback. Wasn't really expecting one).

I've used Pixel Phone Pro for years. Motorola changed contacts with every phone upgrade. Got tired of it.

I use the Glossy theme and black background. It is very legible in bright sunlight.

Backup/restore is great.

Can somebody else please back me up on the problem with the lack of a menu button after the M update on the S6?

Don't be so freakin' passive.
Say something.

Maybe I'm blowing it.
Maybe I expect too much out of a $1200 phone($27/month)+2/gb [mth]AT&T service = $110/mth.


I'm thinking I can do better.

Thank you, Mike, so much, for censoring my previous rant. I know I lost a lot of respect from everybody that saw that before you got to it.

To all of you, I'm so sorry.

I got drunk for the first time in 8 months.
Then I found out my shoulder surgery was again postponed (after having this surgery scheduled for over 2 months now) because of a sudden confict with my surgeons schedule.
I need my shoulder to propel my wheelchair (I'm a paraplegic) and I thought my life was going to finally get better with this surgery (rotator cuff= gone).

I'm not sure what the PM to me entailed.
Maybe it's a ban from these forums. I pray this isn't the case.
I love this place and the people I chat with here.

You have taught me absolutely everything I know about Android.
And maybe even a little bit about life.

And I again thank you for that.

If I haven't already been banned, I am banning myself for awhile.
I can't show my face around here right now.
If I am still welcome here, I will be back in a month or in a year.
I don't know.
I just want enough time to pass between now and then for everybody to forget what I fool I am.

I don't know what else to say.

stick around please.... my wife is a RN BSN who worked as a Diabetics Supervisor for 20 years....
imagine her chagrin when she found out the hard way she is a diabetic and it stole one of her legs, instantly retiring her from any job. the disease can't be stopped, and she is getting worse and worse.... effects her mental outlook on life immensely, saying "I want to die" all to often now.

just yesterday, we found at out the doctor's office that her new disease "guillain-barré syndrome" is actually Rocky Mountain Spotted Tick Fever.... the symptoms are almost identical.... but the ticks are overwhelming us here this year....

at least the antibiotic is starting to kick in, she feels a little bit better this morning....

so, don't stick your head under a pillow, there is life after "death"... I am proof of that.
A semi truck, yes the 18 wheeler type, T-boned me on my Honda Goldwing back in 2008, and changed my life immensely.

OMG. I pray the meds work well for your wife.
I just lost one of my legs from infection 2 years ago. Not a big deal as I already could'nt walk.
I will lose my other leg as well because of my poor circulation because of my spinal cord injury.
Whenever I do get my shoulder surgery, it will be my 10th major surgery due to various complications since a platform collapse landed me in this chair 14 years ago.
Before that I never went to the hospital for anything. I was the healthiest person on the planet.

That wreck that you miraculously survived looks horrendous. I guess you must still have some unfinished business down here before you're needed in Heaven.

To be there for your wife, most likely.
And maybe to make people like myself stop and think. That I'm not the only one in this world with challenges and tests.

They say God doesn't give us more than we can handle. It's trials and tribulations that make us stronger, in turn able to handle the next one with even more conviction and determination.

I think you must be right about God having a different plan.
Back in 1964 when I was driving a 1960 Ford Econoline service van, it and me dropped into a huge hole hidden by a little bit of water on the streets.... it had been raining, I was engrossed in looking at the beautiful Rainbow....

and wham!, the right front wheel fell down to China, the truck veered to the right at about 30 degrees and dead centered a pine tree. the van's head lights were looking directly at each other, having wrapped around that tree.

The windshield and my eyeglasses disappeared.
the truck rebounded back off that tree about 50 feet.....

the driver's door and the service jack located under the driver's seat.... both of them sheared their attachment bolts and went sliding down the street.

I received a cut on one finger, and one hell of a bruise from the Seat Belt.... did not even go get checked out, the EMS guys said "look at this flashlight" and my eyes followed the light... so they turned me loose.

Maybe we'll meet in another time in another place someday.
(Indiana isn't so far from Nebraska, after all) (wouldn't be the first time I met someone in real life that I met through here [Lord Vincent]).
