I am going on sites to watch programs on my phone brower. Im using 'Mini Boat Browser'. I can get past all the ads within the video but when it comes to playing the video, I can't play it. When i go on the same site on my PC, it works. I can view the video but doesnt work on my phone. Why not? Is there a good browser to do this?

Do you have adobe flash installed on your phone? Are you sure that the site you are visiting is using flash and not some other video type?

Yes I do have Flash installed. So far, i can watch flash on any websites apart from the ones that have the program i want to watch. It works on my PC so why not on my phone?

I have a feeling that it isn't flash then. It could be one of a number of different codecs that you computer can play. The next time you are on your computer try playing the video and right clicking on it to see what information is given.

You're not seeing flash videos because you're using a "mini" browser. Basically all the minis (dolphin mini, boat mini, opera mini) won't be able to show you flash videos. Those are like just bare bones browsers to get to your content fast. You need the HD versions (boat HD, dolphin HD, Opera Mobile, etc).

but I can watch videos on the mini boat browser version. So whats the difference between the mini and the HD apart from the size?

It has less features, for example I dont think the mini has the ability to change user agent, or has a screenshot or save webpage feature, and has greater support for websites.

Basically, mini versions are barebones browsers, while the HD ones have more complete feature sets and capabilities trying to be as close to desktop browsers as possible.

Oh.. just installed the Boat HD browser and it seems like it played the video I wanted to watch.

FYI, the mini did have the ability to change its user agent
