SketchBook from AutoDesk is good. After all its from the makers of Autocad for PC. Although sketching on a tablet is a bit wonky unless you use the Note series from Samsung or Nvidia.

Hi Luna and welcome to Android Forums!

If you haven't bought your tablet yet, PLEASE make sure you avoid the mistake of buying a cheap Chinese or other knock-off tablet. These usually run around $100, sometimes less... sometimes WAY less on clearance. There's a reason for that:

NO Google services are usually included!

That would mean no Play store (most would direct you to a dedicated "app store" that may or may not work anymore), no Gmail, no syncing or backup. And you'll likely NEVER get an Android update.

Please stick with the better name brands... even if you have to buy one gently used. Galaxy Tabs, the Note 10.1s, etc. are all excellent tablets with full support. If you have any questions, make sure you ask them BEFORE acting. We want you to enjoy your Android experience with no bumps in the road.

It's great to have you here! :)

I've been using Sketchbook for a while and I am not entirely happy with it. I don't find the tool pallets easy to navigate. I have been enjoying Infinite Painter lately. They have a free (ad supported) version, but at $5 for the pro version, you can't go wrong.

Artflow is awesome for emulating traditional mediums. It has really nice brushes and effects, a stick-on palette, interfaces that only appear when you need them, layers, etc..
I chose this one over the others. Oooh, and smudge tool, yay!
The free version of Artflow is more than adequate for most needs. The paid version gives you more brushes and layers. I mostly paid for it to support the app which I love.
