Easily my all time favorite. I must have watch it like more than 50 times by now

Yeah excellent script and probably still Matt Damon's best role, except maybe The Departed.

A really great film in my eyes. I watch it anytime I can catch it on TV. I also have the dvd for a fix when I can't find it on tv.

My favourite film too but while I'd expect many people to like it I didn't think many would consider it to be their all time fave.

Any reason you like it so much?

I actually recently saw that movie and I was totally blown away. Such a difference from most movies coming out recently

Nah that's not obsessed. When I was in highschool I watched The Shawshank Redemption at least once or twice a week for about a year. Outside of that year I've seen it at least another 40-50 times.

It's a great, great movie to be sure. I think anyone who had a less than perfect childhood can appreciate the meaning of the movie
