Goodbye OG Incredible! Hello Razr Maxx!!

Today is the day! I'll be bidding farewell to my first smartphone, the Droid Incredible, that I got on launch day. Have really enjoyed the phone, but it's time. I'm heading to Best Buy this evening to get the FREE Razr Maxx and can't wait. Thanks for listening... :trytofly:

I also went from Droid Incredible to the Maxx. You will enjoy being liberated from having to have chargers at work or in your car all the time. The only time I use a car charger is when I'm using Navigator for long periods of time :)

I went from a DInc to a Razr that I later upgraged to a Maxx, it is quite a trade up. :)
BTW, I live in Jax too.

Congrats!! You will love not being tethered to a charger. I came from the HTC Thunderbolt, which probably had the worst battery of all the smartphones. My first charge on the new Maxx lasted right at 48 hours using the phone, constant updates from facebook, and checking email all the time... I AM SO HAPPY!!
:p

I'm LOVING the Maxx!

Here are a few things that I'd like to highlight, coming from the Droid Inc:

1) Battery life - Goes without saying, but this thing is awesome!
2) Can install apps without space concerns - The Inc had major issues, where I'd have to continuously delete apps, clear cache, etc, just to get the phone to work. Rooted the INC, with CM7, to help things for a while, but it, too, started acting up...
3) ICS - Loving having some of the newer android niceties. Looking forward to Jelly Bean (Google Now, buttery smoothness...)
4) Larger screen - It's not a 4.7 or 5.0, but coming from the Inc, this thing is nice and big. Still fits nicely in the pocket...

Few minor issues:
1) Sound not working - On a few instances, the sound wouldn't work when watching a video. Had to reboot to resolve. Hasn't happened in the last few days, so hoping it was an app issue or an update resolved it.
2) Phone has rebooted a few times...
3) Had the fail of thinking the back of my Maxx was messing up. Was seeing small bubbles in the plastic film. Well, I looked online to see that it is supposed to be removed. Now the phone is shiny and new again! :p
4) Power & volume buttons are a little hard to find and press.
