So I was invited to Google Music and well the problem is that the app 1) never asks what account to log in with and 2) does not give me the ability to change settings (ie. pressing menu brings up shuffle and search). How do I go about getting this resolved?

Your install might be hosed. In my library, I clik on settings and then settings and a "Google Account" item exists that shows what account I am using. Have you reinstalled the app?

Sounds like you installed app on phone first then on PC. Uninstall app on phone then reinstall.

In my experience this normal. I think it's happened on the last two devices I added to my Google Music Beta service.

Usually I just installed it, made sure the GMail account for the Music Beta was registered on the phone, and then waited a few hours, after which the Setting menu magically appeared.
