Weird sync issues.
Hi everyone, this is my first post here as this is also one of the biggest problems I have faced and after a month of going through websites looking for help, I've come to this forum for help.
One day my phone just started acting up — various sync issues, SMSes take 2 weeks to appear, slow reaction time on the phone etc. Upon loading Google Play Store or my Gmail app, a message saying
"Authentication is required. You need to sign in to your Google Account"
I have tried the following ideas but with no difference: —
a) Uninstall the last app i updated
b) Clear Google Play Store Data/Cache
c) Contacts sync app
d) Removing and Readding google accounts
e) Updating to latest firmware
f) Fixing via Sony PC Companion
Of which none of these have worked so i tried Re-setting to factory set, upon entering now it just goes through its usual set up steps and then asks me to add an account, i proceed and i either get stuck at a checking info page, or an error saying they cannot retrieve anything.
