Google and Android updates..Good news

Rumor has it Google wants to streamline software updates to get rid of fragmentation via putting all apps into the market place and thereby not having the onus on the handset makers and carriers worry about the extra programming and compatibility testing...this to me is a big deal, then updates can be done by all when ever it is available. Less wait time , less frustration and confusion. One step closer to getting to be a decent platform. This may be implemented as early as froyo or if not by Gingerbread
