Google+ app as flashable zip

Hi all,

I got my Google+ invite and I'm all set up. However, I cannot install the app on my HTC EVO 4G. I've tried installing it from the market, and as a downloaded apk. The package installer keeps telling me that the "Package file is Invalid". I've done some searching online and found that this is a pretty common issue. I've tried everything including clearing market cache and data, and wiping the ROM cache and Dalvik-cache. Every time I try to install it, it gives me the same error. I'd really prefer not to have to do a full factory reset just to get this app installed.

I would like to try installing it as a flashable zip from recovery. I'm rooted and running Amon_ra recover. Does anyone have this app as a flashable zip?

I'm open to other suggestions to get it installed as well.

Thanks.

I don't know if either method would work to be honest, but wouldn't pushing it via ADB be the equivalent of making it into a flashable .zip?

I'm one of those guys who just knows enough to be dangerous. I really haven't used ADB to this point. I'll give it a try.

Thanks!
