Hi Guys,
Been given a Galaxy s3 phone by my son, Just reset to factory defaults, Do i have to have google apps on it please,

You should have some of the stock Google apps that was pre installed on the phone like the Play Store.

To get more familiar with your S3, take the time to open up your 'Settings' and just go through each option. There's a lot to take in at first but it's a good way to get a handle on what kinds of things you can do with your phone and you'll also be more comfortable tailoring things to suit your particular needs. Everybody uses their smartphone in different ways.
