Google Assistant and alarms

I'm using a pixel 2 xl.

When i asks Google Assistant about my alarms , it replies based on what is in the native clock app.

However, when i asks GA to set an alarm, it does so on the installed alarm clock extreme app

There is no "alarm clock" setting in GA afaik

Any ideas pls ?

I don't know that there is anything you can do..sorry mate. Is there an issue with the stock app?

Android apps are able to pass data between them by way of messages called intents. Your third-party alarm app has registered itself to listen for the "set an alarm" intent, which is how you are able to set an alarm in that app by using Google Assistant. Unfortunately there isn't a "tell me about your pending alarms" intent - there's no way for Google Assistant to query a third-party app about the alarms it contains, nor is there a way for that app to provide that information to the Google Assistant.

What you're seeing is the system working as intended. If you wish to be able to ask Assistant about your upcoming alarms, you'll need to use the stock Clock app.
