Apps Google Browser like text box

Hi guys we are writing a application which require a text box which contains default text in gray color when user click on text box it should dissappear when user deletes all the text again the default value should appear something like Google search text box on emulator

Is there any settings i need to change is there any widget or hack to achieve it?
