I am trying to bypass the google set up wizard because the phone was reset and no access to the email she used to set it up.
If you did a factory reset then you've triggered Factory Reset Protection which is an anti-theft security feature.
You'll need to know the email and password that was used to setup the phone.

Not sure how to do it just yet, but I'll PM you with details once i do it. My boyfriend's friend who is super smart said he knows how to do it. He did it on his daughter's cell phone. I bought a phone from someone else but of course I can't use it bcuz it was reset and they no longer have the email to access the phone.
So no, you don't have to take it back to the carrier or have access to the email and PW.

were you able to get the bypass info by chance, cause im sitting here with the same issuse where my son set up his phone and factory reset it and does not remember the email or password info.
False hope. You will need the proper credentials to go any further, I'm afraid
