Google Calendar app missing

My SuperPad III (Android 2.2-20110325, Kernel 2.6.32.9) is missing the Google Calendar app. When I select Choose Calendar in any calendar app, no calendars are listed (the list is blank). How can I get Google Calendar and/or Yahoo! Calendar to show up as available to sync with?

Menu > Settings > Accounts & Sync > Google
Ensure Sync Calendar is ticked
Sync now

Went to setting you suggested (I had done so previously), only the option to sync Gmail was shown...no option was displayed for Google Calendar. Nor is there a way that I can find to add Calendar.

Any other thoughts.
