Google calendar empties all events

Anyone help? Google calendar dumps all my future entries every time I enter them. They last a few days then suddenly all disappear. Any ideas?

Hi @glossta1 :)

This is an issue that I've read about before, but I'll need some more info to remember what exactly is your problem:

Do you have Calender Sync enabled (Settings > Accounts & Sync > <you>@gmail.com > Calendar)?

Do the entries appear in Google Calendar on the web (https://calendar.google.com)? What happens if you create the entry from the web? Does it trickle down to the device within a minute or so? Does it still disappear after a few days?

Any other info you could provide (device, OS version, calendar app version, carrier, etc) would also be helpful.

Oh, thanks for response. Device is Samsung S4. Entries were made from device but did sync to other devices (I have an S3mini on another network). They also appeared on Samsung Calendar so that sync worked ok too. I didn't check on desktop. I am about to create new entries on desktop and both phones to see what happens and check exactly how many days they last for before being similarly eaten. Sara

I just checked my gmail - I still have in my inbox the email notifications for the past events that have now disappeared. I have now put a fictitious entry in on my laptop, and it appeared almost immediately on both phones. I will next input my 2 regular weekly Tue and Fri meetings. I'll do one from my main phone and one from my laptop.

I've now entered my regular Friday meeting from my laptop. I also changed the colour of the regular meetings to bright yellow because I've heard tgat editing regular items sometimes causes problems. So far all entries are still there. However, I have noticed tgat on my laptop on 27 Feb my regular Fri meeting shows twice, in bright yellow and deep yellow. No otger weeks show. Yet the entry I just put in was just for future sessions. So it has suddenly remembered something.

I'm in the UK, my provider is o2, and I called on the local in-store Guru on Sat - he's never come across this problem before.
