Google Calendar Help...PLEASE

Hello everyone

I have been quite pleased with Gcal and syncing with the phone, however lately I have had two issues. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I added an interesting calendar and it synched up just fine.

I added a second one and it didn't show up on my phone.

I then tried to delete/unsubscribe from the first one, and every time I go back to Google Calendar it is back there it literally won't let me unsubscribe.

The new interesting calendar has never made its way to my phone.

So to be clear:

1. I can't unsubscribe to an interesting calendar on Google Calendar
2. I can't get a second different interesting calendar on Google Calendar to sync with my phone.


Please help.
 
Have you tried unsubscribing from a PC? Is your Google account set to auto-sync? Are these "interesting" calendars on the Google calendar page?

I have unsubscribed from the interesting calendar from a PC numerous times, every time I shut the tab and go back to google calendar it is back and subscribed to.

Everything is set to auto sync, and yes the interesting calendars are on the Google calendar page.

It seems I may have figured out why the one won't sync: there is a small disclaimer with sports calendars that says it will not sync with apps.

As for why it keeps subscribing me to the other one I am still at a loss and need help.

OK, I am subscribed to "Dallas Cowboys", and didn't see them on my list of calendars on the main page. I went back to the "interesting" list and unsubscribed, but the games remain on the calendar. Then I noticed in settings you can hide or show, so I choose "show", and now there are duplicate games.... then I clicked on the individual game and deleted it, and the "Cowboys" calendar on the left remained.... so yeah, something is squirrely with sports calendars.... a little manual work and all is well.
