Google calendar in english

I have now successfully synced my Droid Google Calendar with my Outlook calendar on the desktop. Working very well, syncing every 120 minutes.

The problem is, every setting is in English, but when I open it on the Droid, all the labels are in Spanish. Hoy, Mes, Dia, todo el dia. The days of the week are labeled L M M J V S D. I can figure it out, but why? I repeatedly check the settings to Google Calendar on the Droid and the desktop, always set to English US.

When I open just the browser, it is in Spanish but there is a hyperlink to change to English, but not in the Calendar. Any ideas? Thanks.

I'm also having a similar problem. When I send or receive a calendar invite, it is in spanish. All the settings I can think of are set to "English."

Even entering an english invite and sending it turns it to spanish on the receiving end (my wife), where she also sends me an english invite and has it turn to spanish on my end...
