Help Google calendar not syncing at all

I've set up my wife's Intercept and her email is syncing just fine, but nothing from her google calendar is showing up. When I go to Settings > Calendars, her google calendar is not in the list. Only "My Calendar" shows up. When I go to the "Accounts and sync settings" screen, her account is there and auto-sync is turned on. When I click on the account it takes me to the "Data & Sychronization" screen. Only "Sync Contacts" and "Sync Gmail" are in the list. The menu only gives me the option to "Sync now". Is there a way to add "Sync Calendar" to the list?

Open Calendar APP, select Menu>settings. At the top of the list is Calendars, make sure the Gmail Account is checked.

When my wife got a new Evo Shift she had this problem, too.

Only solution was to do a factory rest. Magically, that fixed it.
