Recently Google added reminders to their mobile calendar. The way reminders is supposed to work (as opposed to events) is you create a reminder and then it sends a notification on the date/time the reminder is due. Supposedly, it will automatically send a notification every day until you click DONE to close it. However, it does not work properly. It will send me the initial notification but does not send out any subsequent ones even though, the reminder is still open (not flagged as DONE)

Google calendar reminders not working

According to Google, you'll see the reminder in your calendar until it's marked done, but I don't see anything about repeating notifications.
