Google Calendar

Which app do y'all recommend to use with the Google Calendar? I have an MS exchange account, but we are using the Dell Streak 7 as "family" device. I have one Google account that I have linked it with.

I am looking to be able to add our appointments to this Google account. I did not find an app from Google Inc.

Or should I use IMAP for this instead of POP3?

The stock calender app works great for me.

For a gmail account, you should use the Gmail app, not the Mail app. This will let the calendar sync with the stock calendar.

The tablet should have a native calendar app on it. This app syncs with your google account on the tablet.

sitlet beat me to it

Thanks - I thought I had done that (downloaded the GMail app but I did not).

Before I set it up, can I delete the user that I set up using the native mail app? And in the interest of full disclosure - this user is the one that I have added to the Android marketplace.

I have one "business" GMail on there - not used for business, I just get notified of emails. I know I could add my POP3 business accounts, but just in case it is stolen / lost, I don't want anyone to have access to any business emails.

I installed the GMail application. The GMail accounts seemed to just show up in there. But I could not see the calendar. I hit the settings button, but nothing was there re: the Calendar. I saw Accounts, but that just took me to both of my accounts.

I like Jorte. it's not necessarily beter than the native calendar, but i like the looks of it beter, and it syncs beutilully with Google calendar.

Thanks - I installed Jorta - just making sure that was the right one. I still about playing with it at the oncologist treatment in about 15 minutes.
