I am trying to create an event on my Nexus and I get a message that I have to create a Goggle Calendar account but I already have a Google account. Can anyone help?

How do I check that?

Are you logged into google using the N7? Also you can create the event from a PC and see if it syncs to the tablet & phone, if it doesn't, you may not have syncing turned on. Look under Settings to turn on syncing.

To clarify, settings > Data usage > options (3 vertical dots upper right) > put checkmark in Auto-sync data to turn sync on. Remove checkmark to turn sync off.
