Google calendars including extra data

Lurker
Hi there,

I have a HTC wildfire. When I first got it, I tried syncing it with my facebook account, but found that this was polluting my phonebook and calendar with lots of stuff about people I barely know. So, I quickly changed this.

Over time, I've started to use google calendar a lot more. I recently added the "UK holidays" to my own personal one, and all was fine. Then, I suddenly found my phone telling me about the birthday of a random friend that I've not seen for years. I poked through, and it turns out that there's about 6 birthdays in there, that have obviously come from facebook (two of them are people I only know becasae I did photo shoots with them that I tagged on FB).

I can't delete these, as they are part of "UK holidays" on my phone, but not on gmail. I imagine that there's some data still floating around on my phone from when I synced with FB, but I can't figure out how to find it and delete it.

Any ideas welcome.

Cheers,
Steve

p.s. been lurking for a while. These forums have been really helpful, though I've not needed to post before now :)
